Mangrove Wealth Services has selected an investment management firm to serve on our team as investment manager for our clients’
assets. They are a world-class leader in applying the proven
principles of the Nobel Prize-winning Modern Portfolio Theory
to asset management.
During the discovery
meeting, we will use details from you regarding your investment
time horizon, financial situation, attitude towards risk and
investor profile to determine your general risk tolerance profile.
That profile, along with additional knowledge about your unique
situation, will be used to determine a recommended model portfolio.
Your profile, model portfolio
recommendation and other relevant facts will be used to develop
a written Investment Policy Statement with specific information
covering your objectives and constraints, target returns, risk
tolerance, time horizons, anticipated withdrawals, contributions
and taxation and regulatory issues.
We will coordinate the
implementation of appropriate
accounts and related
asset transfers, along with the setup of online access for you
to view account activity and balances. The investment manager
will execute the investment strategy defined in the Investment
Policy Statement through portfolios of low cost, asset class,
institutional funds and portfolio managers. With this methodology,
we provide the highest quality investment options available
in the market today. Your accounts are reviewed by both the
investment manager and Mangrove Wealth Services, LLC on an ongoing
basis and rebalanced when necessary. This ensures your
investments stay aligned with your investment policy statement.
Finally,
we coordinate any necessary
planned or unplanned
cash flow needs with
the investment manager
who will undertake liquidations
in the most tax and cost
efficient manner. In addition
to monthly statements
from the custodian, you will receive detailed quarterly statements
from the investment manager with overviews at both the household
and account level. This allows you to see similar investments
summarized across accounts as well as an ability to drill down
to the underlying investments within each account. We will
schedule a meeting following the receipt of your first quarterly
statement to review the statement with you and answer any questions
you may have.
